Wow! This week has been one full of many rich blessings. On Tuesday, at CBS Leader's Council, the ladies threw me a surprise diaper shower and prayed for our newest baby. I was embarrassed to the core as they stuck me in the middle of the room and surrounded me. The shock was quickly replaced with thanksgiving, joy and graditude as all these godly ladies pleaded with God for His protection, grace, strength and perseverance in the months and years to come. I couldn't have asked for a better welcoming for our baby boy. What could be better than being bathed in prayer?! And the diapers! Look at all of those diapers and wipes!
On Saturday, my sisters, Joanna, Kelly and my dearest friend, Dorothy threw me another shower. Yay for more diapers, wipes and goodies. It was a wonderful time with family and friends gathering at Village Idiot for some delicious pizza. They actually picked that spot because V.I. has been a very frequented spot this pregnancy. Baby Grady was kicking for joy as Mommy ate the yummy, cheesey, meaty goodness. Many of the people went in on a group gift that included a carseat cover, a carseat handle pad, a Moby wrap, a bunny lovey, a baby book and a shopping cart cover. Grady even received two of his own outfits, but they're hard to see in the picture. My mom gave me a new nursing nightgown, which I'm pretty excited about since my other ones are old and yucky. Money and giftcards were also given! What a blessing!
